Suspects arrested in Albertsdal and Brackenhurst after two separate incidents
The prompt response from security and local authorities led to arrests in both instances.
In two separate incidents, CPS tactical units in Albertsdal and Brackenhurst arrested criminals following break-ins and suspicious activities.
The first arrest was in Baviaanskloof in Albertsdal after a non-client reported to CPS that an unknown male had accessed their property.
CPS reaction units responded, and because of the clothing description provided, they tracked the criminal within minutes, returning him to the premises, and the homeowner positively identified him.
The Brackendowns SAPS have opened a case for further investigation.
The second arrest was in Brackenhurst, where CPS tactical units responded to information from a resident who had seen an unknown male jump over a perimeter wall.
CPS officers saw the criminal walking on Delphinium Road and detained him.
Further investigation revealed the suspect had stolen items from the property.
The Brackendowns SAPS has opened a case, and both criminals are in police custody as investigations continue.
