Kliprivier and Meyerton SAPS arrest 154 suspects

Sedibeng SAPS did a good job at Mayerton after arresting several suspects.

On March 20 a collective team of law enforcement managed to arrest 154 suspects for various crimes and 12 traffic fines to the value of R6 500 were issued to those who contravened road traffic.

During Operation Shanela, led by Sedibeng District Commissioner Major General Mukhwevo in Kliprivier and Meyerton policing precincts, the Sedibeng District SAPS prioritised the arrest of wanted suspects, visible policing, patrols, and liquor license compliance enforcement.

The Sedibeng district management hosted two successful campaigns (imbizos) from both areas hosting elderly people where they addressed crime and challenges faced.

Meyerton SAPS interacted with the community of Sector 1 in Sicela by doing door-to-door visits and about 250 informative pamphlets were distributed. Mukhwevho was impressed and he welcomed a team effort made by all members.
