Hijacked truck recovered, suspect apprehended in Brackenhurst

The CPS Security tactical team’s swift action resulted in the recovery of a hijacked truck and its cargo.

The team responded to an alert about a hijacked truck travelling along Swartkoppies Road, Brackenhurst. After the alert was circulated, the officers spotted the stolen vehicle on the R550.

In coordination with Tracker South Africa, CPS Security officers pursued the truck until it left the road and crashed into a veld.

One of the tactical team members swiftly apprehended the suspect on the scene.
