Various law enforcement agencies and security partners held a successful joint operation in the Alberton policing area.
The operation on June 30 was a collaborative effort between Alberton SAPS, EMPD, Gauteng Traffic Police, and other units.

The team focused on increasing visibility on highways, visiting drug hotspots, and conducting inspections, and conducting inspections at liquor outlets and second-hand goods stores to ensure compliance.
The efforts paid off, resulting in 17 arrests.
CPS Security was proud to partner with the various law enforcement agencies in this joint operation.

“We are grateful for the collaboration with Alberton SAPS, Gauteng Traffic Police Saturation Unit, Gauteng Traffic Wardens, immigration, and EMPD CLU,” said Tyron van der Merwe from CPS Security.
He said the operation highlights the importance of inter-agency collaboration in combating crime and ensuring public safety.

“The success of this operation demonstrates the effectiveness of joint efforts in addressing various crime-related issues, including hijackings, drug-related crimes, and non-compliance with regulations.
“The 17 arrests made during the operation are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the law enforcement agencies involved. The operation serves as a reminder that crime-fighting efforts require a multi-faceted approach, involving various stakeholders and agencies working together to achieve common goals.”
