Ward 38 committee member vacancy opened
The ward 38 councillor invites everyone to nominate a candidate for the ward committee vacancy.
All organised formations, interested parties, and sectors are invited to register and submit a candidate nomination for the open position on the Ward 38 committee.
The nomination period closes on February 8.
The vacancy is available for a young candidate.
The requirements for this role are as follows:
• The individual has to be a citizen of South Africa.
• The individual needs to be a registered voter in that specific ward.
• The applicant must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be free of criminal convictions.
• Must not owe the council money for services rendered or being in arrears but be willing to make the required arrangements to settle the account by established council policy.
The elections will be held at the legislature boardroom at Alberton Civic Centre on February 13, at 18:00.
