Taps run dry in parts of Alberton as technicians work on infrastructure
The technicians are working tirelessly to ensure that residents have access to water as soon as the repairs are completed.
Water supply in parts of Alberton has been affected this Thursday afternoon.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni, a temporary water supply stoppage has been implemented to allow technicians to install a new valve at 7th Avenue in Alberton.
As a result, the following areas have been affected:
• Alberton;
• Alberton North;
• Florentia
• Parts of Verwoerdpark.
“The estimated restoration time is 18:00 today,” said the City in a statement.
The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for the inconvenience caused to residents.
