Eden Park lass snatches Miss Callies title

The Miss Callies modelling competition originated from the Callies Football Club and has been in existence for over a decade in the modelling industry.

Angell-Lee, who has been modelling for the past nine years, said: “My journey with Miss Callies has showed me that, progress comes with patience and determination towards one’s goals. Within six years I competed in the competition three times and it was third time lucky. As the saying goes, ‘the third time is a charm’.

“On this day I was crowned Miss Callies 2024/25 and received the senior community work title after being a finalist for about seven months,” she said.

The win also landed Angell-Lee a prize of R10 000.
