Good Samaritans emerge in time of need
Locals Martin Fourie and Freddie Louwrens of Premier Air and Power Solutions recently lent a helping hand during unprecedented load-shedding to Stepping Stone Palliative Care Services.

With the unexpected load-shedding, Stepping Stone Hospice discovered that the solar system cannot cope with three load-sheddings.
Martin Fourie and Freddie Louwrens of Premier Air and Power Solutions came to their rescue at their children’s unit and installed a loan generator.
“Thanks to the swift response and generosity of Martin and Freddie, our most vulnerable patients were spared from the trauma of prolonged darkness. The generator’s timely arrival brought relief to the Hospice staff and patients alike, ensuring the continuation of critical care,” said Tersia Burger, Stepping Stone Hospice founder and CEO.
