Revival City College embraces World Read Aloud Day with enthusiasm
World Read Aloud Day is a reminder of the transformative power of reading and the impact it can have on people and communities.

Revival City College learners recently joined in the global World Read Aloud Day, embracing the joy of reading and storytelling.
To mark the occasion, learners dressed up as their favourite characters from books they had read, adding a playful touch to the festivities.
The teachers and learners engaged in lively reading sessions, reading aloud in class specially selected, age-appropriate books and passages.
The excitement was palpable when students brought their favourite stories to life.
But the celebration didn’t stop there. To emphasise the importance of reading in everyday life, learners enjoyed a fun and interactive activity: baking a cake.
By following a recipe read aloud, they demonstrated how reading is essential to achieving tangible outcomes.
The learners and teachers had a wonderful time at the successful event.
