Vandals hit Eden Park Secondary School fence hours after repairs

The fence is frequently vandalised, with the latest incident happening hours after its repair.

Eden Park Secondary is a target for vandals who continue to damage its fence.

Situated on 35 Ferrari Street, the latest incident occurred hours after repairing it. Principal Richard Mbaco oversaw the concrete palisade fence repairs on February 24.

“We are pleased to inform the community that the concrete palisade fence at Eden Park Secondary School has been repaired. This is an important step in ensuring a safe and focused learning environment for our children,” read his statement.

Workers from MFB Walling repaired the fence. These repairs are the school’s effort to ensure learner safety and prevent distractions, trespassing and unwanted activities that could disrupt teaching and learning. However, less than 24 hours after the repairs, vandals again damaged the fence.
