CPS Security joins forces with Gauteng government to tackle crime in Ekurhuleni
Premier Lesufi welcomes partnership as public-private collaboration aims to boost safety and security across the region
The government response programme for the Ekurhuleni region, led by Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, formally invited CPS Security to participate in the initiative on June 5.
This partnership is highlighted by the collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies and private security companies in the fight against crime.
“We are thrilled to have CPS Security on board,” said Premier Panyaza Lesufi. “Their expertise and resources will be invaluable in our efforts to keep Ekurhuleni safe. By working together, we can build a safer and more secure community for all residents in the south of Johannesburg.”

CPS Security has worked closely with distinguished leaders, including Major General Sithole from the Ekurhuleni district and Ekurhuleni Mayor Alderman Nkosindiphile Xhakaza.
The CPS team’s contribution to the event’s success demonstrates the value of public-private partnerships in maintaining safety and security.
“The partnership between CPS Security and the government is a testament to our shared commitment to keeping communities safe,” said Mayor Xhakaza. “We look forward to continuing this collaboration and making Ekurhuleni a safer place for all.”

Through this collaboration, CPS Security and its partners aim to keep communities safe and secure. The joint effort showcases their commitment to working together to address crime and ensure the well-being of citizens.
“We’re proud to be part of this initiative,” said CPS Security sales director Tyrone Van der Merwe.
“By working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of Ekurhuleni residents. We’re committed to supporting the government’s efforts to keep our communities safe and secure.”
