Blue Wings feeds 33 vulnerable people on Mandela Day

A small act of kindness went a long way in Raceview as Blue Wings Association stepped in to help those in need on Mandela Day.

Blue Wings Association marked Mandela Day by feeding 33 vulnerable people with bread and soup outside their premises in Raceview on July 18.

“We wanted to do more, but unfortunately, we work with what we have. We depend entirely on donations,” said Lucky Modiko of Blue Wings.

The organisation remains committed to its core purpose-providing quality day care and skills development for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Families or individuals who know someone in need of these services are encouraged to reach out.

Additionally, the organisation is appealing to companies and individuals to sponsor the monthly fees for beneficiaries in need.
