WATCH: Meat World, Apple Tree celebrate 15 years of serving Alberton community

Families gathered for music, braais and balloons as two long-standing Alberton stores marked their 15-year milestone.

The festive spirit was alive and sizzling when Meat World and Apple Tree Fresh Food Market celebrated 15 years of loyal service to the Alberton community on July 26.

The shopfronts were decorated with balloons, a braai was set up outside, and children received free balloon animals and had tattoos painted on their hands.

Families and shoppers stopped by to enjoy the activities throughout the day.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, local musician Eli Amor entertained visitors outside the store, playing his guitar and singing songs many enjoyed while shopping.

“It’s been a journey of hard work, ups and downs, but it’s all been worth it,” the trio said.

“We’re lucky to have such great staff; some have been with us since the beginning.”

Just next door, the Apple Tree Fresh Food Market joined in the celebration with the same energy.
