Alberton hosts Miss Class of South Africa 2025 grand finale

From a nine-month development journey to the crowning of queens across five categories, the pageant showcased growth, confidence, and empowerment in young women and girls.

The Miss Class of South Africa 2025 grand finale lit up Alberton at Bracken Park Hall in Albertsdal.

After a transformative nine-month journey that began in February, the pageant celebrated young women and girls who demonstrated personal growth, leadership, community engagement, and modelling excellence across the country.

A development journey rooted in purpose

Miss Class of SA goes beyond beauty; it is a comprehensive development programme.

Khanyisile Tembo, Candice Twenty and Nokwanda Mofokeng.

Contestants are assessed on a balanced scorecard of confidence, discipline, and community impact.

Over nine months, participants completed self-promotion videos, public sash exhibits, ramp walks, charity work, and voting campaigns.

They also attended workshops in modelling, beauty and grooming, public speaking, charity and sponsorship, and dance rehearsals.

Meetings, auditions, and promotional activities helped contestants build their pageant portfolios and prepare for the finale.

Gilbert Lawrence, pageant organiser, said, “Miss Class of SA is about more than looking good on stage. It’s about building confidence, leadership skills and a sense of responsibility in these young women. We want every contestant to leave this journey stronger than when they started.”

The journey ended with a colour picnic at Alberton Dam, where team-building games reinforced camaraderie and sportsmanship among contestants.

This year, 25 contestants, locally and from Limpopo, Benoni, and Heilbron, competed across five categories – Little Miss, Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, and Senior.

A community effort worth celebrating

The success of the grand finale reflects the collective effort of organisers, sponsors, judges, parents, and volunteers.

Gilbert Lawrence noted, “This event wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our team, the support of families, and the generosity of our sponsors. It’s heartwarming to see everyone unite to uplift these young women.”

He thanked the MC Candice Freeman, Miss Class Ambassadors, former queens, and the support staff Lindien, Diane, Aidan, and William, who played a key role in the event’s success.
