Alberton Hardware marks 50 years with month-long celebration

Alberton Hardware marked its 50th anniversary with celebrations honouring the customers, staff and partners who helped shape its success.

Alberton Hardware celebrated a milestone last year by serving the community and surrounding areas for 50 years.

Founded five decades ago, the family-run business is one of the region’s most trusted and well-known stores.

Found on 33 Van Riebeeck Avenue, Alberton North, it has become more than a place to buy tools and materials.

For generations of customers, it has been the destination for DIY essentials, paint, plumbing, electrical supplies, power tools and building materials.

Many value the store for its wide variety of products, friendly service and knowledgeable staff.

To mark its 50th anniversary and look ahead, Alberton Hardware hosted a gala evening at the Glenvista Country Club to thank customers, suppliers, staff and friends who have supported it throughout its journey.
