Kliprivier SAPS launches digital Rate our Service campaign to strengthen accountability

Kliprivier residents can now rate police service online, helping the SAPS improve accountability, professionalism and community engagement.

To enhance transparency and improve service delivery, Kliprivier SAPS station commander Lieutenant Colonel LJ Mofokeng introduced a digital QR-code survey campaign, Rate our Service, inviting the community to give feedback on police services.

The programme lets residents evaluate their SAPS interactions in real time.

Mofokeng confirmed that the process can be completed remotely, meaning residents do not need to visit the station to participate.

“Iphoyisa yiphoyisa ngomphakathi – The police need the community, and the community needs the police. This initiative is about more than just data; it is about fostering a partnership built on dignity, respect, and high standards of discipline,” said Mofokeng.

Accountability at your fingertips

The Rate our Service flyer displays a QR code. Residents can scan it with a smartphone to access an online portal to assess the professionalism and efficiency of the service they received.

Key benefits of the campaign include:

• convenience: Residents can complete the survey from anywhere using their mobile devices;

• zero tolerance: Mofokeng stressed that unprofessional or undisciplined behaviour by members will not be tolerated;

• continuous improvement: Responses will help identify service gaps and highlight exemplary performance at the Kliprivier station.

How to participate

Save the QR code on devices for easy access.

“Your participation will assist us in improving our service. We are committed to treating everyone who engages with our station with the professionalism they deserve,” added Mofokeng.

Residents can also access the survey through the MySAPS App or by visiting Rate our Service.
