Connor Walker and Allanah White accepted into International Dance Association
Dance Fusion dancers Connor Walker and Allanah White have earned acceptance into the internationally recognised Association of International Dance Teachers, marking a proud achievement for the studio and highlighting their dedication, talent, and hard work under the guidance of teacher Sharron Potgieter.
The local dance community is celebrating a remarkable achievement after Connor Walker and Allanah White of Dance Fusion were officially accepted into the prestigious Association of International Dance Teachers (AIDT).
The accomplishment reflects the dancers’ exceptional talent, commitment, and discipline, as well as the countless hours they have dedicated to perfecting their craft. Being accepted into the AIDT is considered a significant milestone in the dance world, given the organisation’s internationally recognised standards and commitment to excellence in dance education.
“Being accepted into this amazing dance teacher training programme means absolutely everything to me. Dance has always been my passion, and the opportunity to further my training and work towards becoming a qualified dance teacher is a proud and exciting milestone in my journey.
“It is more than just dance, it is the chance to grow, learn, inspire others and turn something I love so deeply into part of my future. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to continue pushing myself, learning from the best and becoming the dancer and teacher I aspire to be,” said Connor
Both Connor and Allanah credited much of their success to the unwavering support and mentorship of Sharron Potgieter, owner and teacher at Dance Fusion. Her guidance, encouragement, and belief in their abilities have played an instrumental role in helping them reach this exciting stage in their dance journeys.
“I am enjoying all that AIDT has to offer, and I have already grown so much as a dancer and teacher. The future is quite open-ended for me, but I know that dance will always feature in my life,” said Allanah
