SASSA child support grant registration days at Eden Park Community Hall

SASSA will host child support grant registration days in Eden Park throughout the year, giving parents of children under two access to essential social assistance services.

Residents of Eden Park and surrounding communities are invited to attend scheduled registration sessions for the SASSA’s child support grant for children under the age of two.

The outreach programme aims to assist eligible parents and caregivers with applications and ensure easier access to social assistance services.

Registration sessions will take place at the Eden Park Community Hall starting at 08:30.

Dates for registration:

• June 23

• July 7 and July 21

• August 4 and August 18

• September 8 and September 22

• October 6 and October 20

• November 3 and November 17

• December 1

The initiative is part of the South African Social Security Agency’s ongoing service delivery efforts to bring essential social grant services closer to communities.

Required documents

Applicants are advised to bring the following documents when attending:

• Copy of a 13-digit South African ID for the applicant and spouse (if married)

• Proof of marital status, such as a marriage certificate, divorce decree, or death certificate, where applicable

• Three months’ bank statements

• Payslip or proof of income for the applicant and spouse (if married)

• Birth certificate of the child

• Proof of permissible deductions, including tax, UIF, medical aid, pension, provident fund, or retirement annuity (where applicable)

Community members are encouraged to arrive early and ensure all documents are complete to avoid delays in the application process.
