Alberton Methodist Church Women’s Auxiliary invited community for craft morning for Temporary Place of Safety

Residents are invited to spend a morning crafting with purpose as the Alberton Methodist Church Women’s Auxiliary prepares heartfelt decorations for the Temporary Place of Safety, helping create a warm and welcoming environment for those in need.

The Alberton Methodist Church Women’s Auxiliary is inviting community members to take part in a special craft morning dedicated to bringing comfort and encouragement to residents at the Temporary Place of Safety at 10:00 on June 13 at Alberton Methodist Church.

Participants will spend the morning creating handmade decorative items for the rooms at the Temporary Place of Safety, with all crafting materials supplied by the organisers.

Organisers say the project is about more than creating art; it is about bringing hope, kindness and a sense of care to those facing difficult circumstances, and to brighten living spaces for vulnerable women and children.

Attendees will enjoy soup and rolls while connecting with others who share a desire to make a positive difference.

The Women’s Auxiliary encourages anyone with a heart for serving the community to join the event and help create a welcoming environment through simple acts of creativity and generosity.
