Stepping Stone Children’s Unit marks two years of compassionate care

Stepping Stone Hospice’s Children’s Unit is celebrating its second anniversary with a special evening of remembrance, gratitude and hope, honouring the children, families and dedicated staff who have been part of its journey.

Stepping Stone Hospice’s Children’s Unit will celebrate two years of providing specialised palliative care to children and their families at a special gathering.

The event will take place on June 25 at 17:30 at the Stepping Stone Children’s Unit, situated at 12 Glen Albyn Street, Raceview.

Community members who wish to attend are encouraged to RSVP with the hospice.

Since opening its doors two years ago, the unit has remained committed to ensuring that every child in its care is surrounded by love, dignity and comfort, regardless of their circumstances.

The milestone marks not only a celebration of the unit’s achievements but also an opportunity to reflect on the lives that have touched the hearts of staff, volunteers and families.

The event will bring together community members, families, and supporters, with a focus on remembrance, gratitude, and hope.

The celebration will honour the children who have passed through the unit’s care while recognising the strength and courage of the families who have walked this journey alongside them.

It will also pay tribute to the dedicated healthcare professionals and support staff who continue to provide compassionate care every day.

According to Stepping Stone Hospice, the anniversary is an opportunity to thank the community for its ongoing support and to look ahead with renewed commitment.
