Hoërskool Marais Viljoen High School staff were treated to hot soup, fresh sandwiches and a chance to swap their shoes for slippers during a special winter appreciation day.

As winter temperatures bite and the demands of exam time and marking continue, staff at Hoërskool Marais Viljoen High School received a welcome boost during the school’s Soup and Slipper Day on June 5.

In a statement, the school said: “Staff members were properly spoiled with the most delicious hot soup and fresh sandwiches, while also enjoying the opportunity to wear comfortable slippers to school for the day.”
