Alberview Primary School learners recently showcased their talent, teamwork and sportsmanship during a school sports activation supported by Mall at Newmarket as part of its Youth Month celebrations.

According to the mall, the initiative forms part of its commitment to supporting and celebrating young athletes across Alberton.

“Alberview Primary School brought the energy, teamwork, and true sporting spirit to the field,” said Mall at Newmarket.

The activation provided learners with an opportunity to participate in sport while demonstrating dedication, discipline and a positive attitude on the field.

The event highlighted the important role that school sport plays in developing confidence, teamwork and healthy competition among young people.

To recognise exceptional performances, standout players were awarded Player of the Match goodie bags.
