Figures Model Finesse International celebrates 40 years of empowering confident young people
Figures Model Finesse International is celebrating its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of empowering children, teenagers and adults through confidence-building, personal development and professional modelling training.
Figures Model Finesse International is celebrating a major milestone this year as the renowned modelling academy marks 40 years of building confidence, creating opportunities and changing lives.
Established in 1986, Figures has grown into one of South Africa’s leading modelling academies with an international footprint.
At the heart of this success is Figures Alberton, which continues to equip children, teenagers and adults with skills that extend far beyond the runway.
Rather than focusing solely on modelling, the academy offers professional training in confidence, etiquette, public speaking, stage presence, photographic modelling and personal development, helping students develop lifelong skills that prepare them for success in all areas of life.
Over the past four decades, Figures has produced thousands of confident young people who have gone on to build successful careers not only in the modelling industry but also in business, education, media and leadership.
“Celebrating 40 years is about more than reaching a milestone. It is about celebrating every student who has walked through our doors, every family who has believed in our vision and every success story that began with one step onto our runway,” said Melanie van den Heever of Figures Alberton.
She said Figures has helped thousands of children, teenagers and adults build confidence and develop life skills that have prepared them for success, not only in modelling but also in business, education, media and leadership.
“As the South African mandated member of the International Modelling and Talent Association, we are proud to continue connecting local talent with international opportunities while inspiring the next generation through professional training, mentorship and a supportive environment where confidence can flourish,” van den Heever added.
Figures continues to create opportunities for students to compete nationally and internationally, work alongside industry professionals and participate in prestigious events that can open doors to careers in modelling, acting and entertainment.
The academy views its 40th anniversary not only as a celebration of an extraordinary journey but also as the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
