Community invited to donate formal wear for Alberton High School learners

Alberton High School is calling on the community to donate clean, gently-used formal clothing to help ensure every learner feels confident, included and ready for upcoming school events

Alberton High School is encouraging the community to support its Wish Upon a Dress collection drive by donating clean, gently used formal attire for learners in need.

The initiative aims to ensure that every learner has the opportunity to attend school functions feeling confident, celebrated and included, regardless of their financial circumstances.

The school is looking for donations of dresses, suits, formal shoes and accessories. Every item donated will help create lasting memories for learners attending upcoming school events.

As a token of appreciation, everyone who donates will receive a complimentary cupcake.

Donations can be dropped off at Alberton High School between July 21 and 23, with the official Wish Upon a Dress Collection Drive taking place on July 24.

The school thanked the community in advance for supporting its learners and helping make special moments possible for every child.
