URCSA Eden Park welcomed new trialists during special church service
URCSA Eden Park officially welcomed a group of new female and male trialists during a robing service held at its Eden Park church on July 12.
Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa (URCSA) officially welcomed a new group of trialists during a robing service held at its church in Eden Park on July 12.
The service took place at the church’s premises at 14 Citroen Street, Eden Park, where female and male trialists were robed as part of the congregation’s programme.
The occasion included the biblical message from John 6:35, which reads: “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
The congregation also extended a warm welcome to the new trialists with the message: “We welcome you into God’s service.” The theme, ‘Growing in faith, serving in love’, reflected the spirit of the occasion.
The following female trialists were welcomed during the service: Chrislee-Ann Shemene Oliphant, Johanna Monique Swanepoel, Vinadean Abrahams, Bernine Luthando Caithlin Hughes, Reese Du-prees and Caitline Nicole Bowers.
The male trialists who were robed were: Keandrè Durrell Severiano Mofet, Tyrique Mofet, Cohen Aiden Meyer, Keyovin Klasste, Thierry Benvolio Henry, Delrico Leon Wilskut, Ledanien Diano Liebenberg andLe-mondre Ezlin Shaundrick Visagie.
The event concluded under the congregation’s message of ‘one body, one faith, and one mission’, as the church welcomed the new trialists into its faith community in Eden Park.
