Families at Kids on Camborne came together for Mandela Day to donate pet food, bedding, toys and treats to Uzwela Animal Rescue in Walkerville, making a positive difference in the lives of rescued dogs and cats.

As part of its Mandela Day initiative, Kids on Camborne partnered with parents to support Uzwela Animal Rescue in Walkerville through a donation drive for rescued animals.

The school community collected dog and cat food to help the non-profit organisation care for the animals at its shelter. Parents also donated bedding, toys and special treats to provide extra comfort and enrichment for the dogs and cats.

The initiative formed part of the school’s commitment to giving back to the community and encouraging children to learn the value of kindness, compassion and generosity.

Kids on Camborne thanked all the parents who supported the campaign, noting that their contributions helped make a meaningful difference in the lives of the rescued animals.
