Botha Copo’s winter drive benefits Stepping Stone Hospice
A four-month Nelson Mandela Day winter drive united employees, clients and the community to provide much-needed support to Stepping Stone Hospice.
Stepping Stone Hospice received a donation of winter essentials from Botha Copo Attorneys following the company’s four-month Nelson Mandela Day winter warm-up drive.
The donation included 12 boxes of clothing, shoes, scarves, blankets and other essential winter items collected from employees, clients, estate agents and members of the wider community.
The winter drive ran from March until the end of June and was inspired by the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day and Botha Copo Attorneys’ commitment to supporting people in need.
The company selected Stepping Stone Hospice as the beneficiary in recognition of the care and support it provides to patients and their families.
“Giving back to the community means bringing people together to make a positive impact. By partnering with our employees, clients, business associates and the wider community, we aim to support organisations that care for vulnerable people and create lasting, meaningful change,” said Elsabe Botha of Botha Copo Attorneys.
Although the Nelson Mandela Day winter drive was the company’s flagship community initiative this year, Botha Copo Attorneys said it regularly participates in other outreach projects, including festive season initiatives.
The donations were handed over by Firdows Khan, Tracy Chikwanda and Elsabe Botha, who delivered the collected items to the Hospice on behalf of the company.
