WATCH: Mall of the South comes alive with Secret Sunrise celebration

Secret Sunrise transformed Mall of the South into a space of celebration as people of all ages gathered to dance, connect and honour Mandela Day.

Wearing wireless headphones, participants followed trained facilitators through a programme of music, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, playful activities and energetic dance.

The experience encouraged everyone to let go of their worries, enjoy the moment and connect with those around them.

The one-hour session welcomed people of all fitness levels and backgrounds. Families, friends and first-time participants danced side by side while many embraced the fun by wearing colourful clothing and quirky outfits.
