WATCH: Alberton Stars Family Fun Day brings colour, fun and family memories to Jackson’s Dam
Families and the public gathered at Jackson’s Dam on September 19 for the Alberton Stars Family Fun Day and Colour Festival, featuring games, entertainment, food and giveaways.
A splash of colour, family fun and community spirit came together at Jackson’s Dam when Alberton Stars hosted its Family Fun Day and Colour Festival.
The event invited families and members of the public to enjoy a day filled with fun games, jumping castles, food and drinks, live entertainment, prizes and giveaways. Chrissy Taylor, from Alberton Stars Private School, said the day was about bringing families together and creating special memories.
“I’m Chrissy Taylor. I am from Alberton Stars Private School. Today we are having our Alberton Stars Family Fun Day and colour fest. This is for all of our families and the public to get together so we can really have a fun time and make really special memories as an Alberton Stars family.”
The festival featured a colourful theme, with attendees encouraged to dress in jeans and white T-shirts.
Tickets were R80 for children and R50 for adults, and no alcohol was permitted at the event. The festival also offered vendor opportunities, with stalls available for R350 each.
With its colourful atmosphere and family-focused programme, the Alberton Stars Family Fun Day and Colour Festival gave families a chance to spend time together while enjoying activities at Jackson’s Dam.
