Hoërskool Dinamika learners swapped the ordinary for a day of fun on July 30 as Break a 'Rule Day and Pie Your Teacher' brought plenty of laughs, unforgettable moments and whipped cream-covered teachers.
There was no shortage of laughter at Hoërskool Dinamika when the school hosted its much-anticipated ‘Break a Rule Day & Pie Your Teacher’ event.
For one day only, learners had the chance to bend the usual school rules in the spirit of fun before gathering to watch one of the day’s highlights: teachers getting pied in the face to the delight of cheering crowds.
The school described the event as nothing short of a success. “On July 30 our Dinamika Break a Rule Day & Pie Your Teacher … and what a blast it was,” the school shared.
From classrooms to the school courtyard, excitement filled the air as learners and staff embraced the light-hearted occasion.
The playful atmosphere saw smiles all around, with plenty of whipped cream and good humour making for memorable scenes.
According to the school, the event was about much more than the laughs. “From breaking the usual school rules (just for fun) to watching teachers get pied in the face, the day was filled with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable moments,” the school said.
The fun also created opportunities for learners to spend time together outside the normal routine, strengthening friendships while making lasting memories. Describing the day, the school said it was “a day where memories were made, friendships grew, and smiles were everywhere.”
Hoërskool Dinamika thanked everyone who played a part in making the event a success, adding: “Thank you to everyone who made it such an incredible experience.”
Judging by the smiles on faces, even those covered in pie, ‘Break a Rule Day’ certainly lived up to its reputation as one of the school’s most entertaining days of the year.
