Four decades, one family: Eden Park former learners reunite to give back
Eden Park former learners are preparing to mark 40 years of friendship and shared memories while raising funds for projects at Eden Park Secondary School.
Former learners of Eden Park Secondary School will come together on October 31 for a 40-year reunion at the JD Thomas Hall in Eden Park.
Held under the theme ‘Four Decades, One Family’, the reunion will bring together former classmates and learners from the years 1985 to 2025 to reconnect, share memories and honour the teachers and former principals who played a role in their school years.
However, organisers say the celebration is not only about looking back.
The reunion is also aimed at giving back to the school and community that helped shape generations of learners.
The goal of the event is to raise funds for an intercom system and a borehole for Eden Park Secondary School.
Businesses, organisations, former learners and community members are being encouraged to support the initiative through sponsorships or donations.
The organisers said every contribution, regardless of size, could help turn the 40-year milestone into a lasting legacy for the school and the wider community.
