Drugs are a concern to Alberton residents

Alberton citizens seek help to fight the drug habit dominating the area.

I have been an Alberton resident for many years and have witnessed the town turning from worse to wretched.
The town and community of Alberton North are at risk due to the presence of drug gangs living on the streets. We’ve already had this for a very long time.

Alberton’s drug habit is becoming out of control. There are reports that police are aware of a man who is allegedly selling narcotics at the taxi stop close to Padstow Street, but he continues to get away with it.

The youngsters will become entangled in this, which is having a detrimental effect on Alberton.

If these are the things I’ve been told by locals, then I’m positive that everyone should be aware of them and something needs to be done about this issue, which is now being disregarded.

Please take action, or else Alberton will end up like the inner City of Johannesburg and other towns where crime syndicates run the major business districts.
