Alberton Lions celebrate a successful year

The Alberton Lions Club recently celebrated their 50th anniversary and induction of their 51st Lion president, Tammy du Plooy.

The club held a dinner and celebrated their achievements of the past year and inducted 11 new members.
The club vision for the coming year is to increase service through networking.

Over the past 50 years the club has been committed to helping their community under the five International Lions service pillars of vision, hunger, diabetes, paediatric cancer and environment.

The Alberton Lions where recognised within their district and were awarded club excellence awards for their outstanding achievement on social media, their growth of lionism, Christmas cake sales and as Lions club of the year.
