The event not only celebrated athletic achievement but also strengthened community bonds, with families cheering along the route and volunteers ensuring a smooth race day experience.

Alberton residents and athletes from surrounding areas laced up their running shoes for the 2025 PPS Alberton Road Race, one of the town’s most anticipated sporting events, held on November 9.

Hosted by the Alberton Athletic Club, the annual race again brought together runners of all fitness levels to participate in the 4km fun run, 10km, and 21km events.
