Alberton community invited to join 5km community run

Alberton residents are invited to take part in the Community Fitness Experience where a 5km community run, exciting bootcamp sessions and fitness challenges promise a fun-filled day for people of all fitness levels.

The Community Fitness Experience will bring fitness enthusiasts, families and community members together for a day of exercise, motivation and fun at Sports and Fitness on 27 Clinton Road in Alberton on August 29 at 10: 00.

Designed to promote healthy living while strengthening community connections, the event will begin with a 5km Community Run hosted by The Chase Run Club before participants take part in a variety of energetic fitness sessions.

The programme includes a strength and conditioning bootcamp, Step & Toning, and a high-impact workout, offering something for both beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts.

The event is hosted by Otis, Coach David, Coach Brandon and The Chase Run Club.

Participants are encouraged to bring a sweat towel, water bottle, plenty of positive energy and even a friend to join in the fun.

Fresh fruit will be provided for participants, while food will be available for purchase at the venue.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win prizes and enjoy music throughout the day.

The event is supported by Race View Motors and Independent Herbalife Distributors, with additional sponsors expected to be announced.

The Community Fitness Experience promises a morning of movement, motivation and meaningful connections, reminding residents that fitness is about more than exercise; it is about bringing the community together.
