5 WORLD Cup ’19 warm-up Men’s Evening, hosted by Hoërskool Marais Viljoen High School, takes place at Alberante Motors on September 5. The evening will feature rugby legends Ollie le Roux, Mark Andrews, John Janse van Rensburg and Hugh Bladen. Cost will be R500 per person attending or R5 000 for a table. 7-8 CALLING all wine, art and music lovers. The Henley Wine, Arts and Music (WAM) Festival returns on the weekend of September 7 and 8. Festivities kick off on Saturday morning with wine tasting and art exhibitions at various venues in and around Henley-on-Klip. Saturday night will feature another spectacular concert with WR Jazz and Rock Orchestra performing music ranging from popular film and television themes, musicals, pop and rock hits and gaming music. JazzKLLR will join the orchestra for a few numbers and the girls from Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy will also perform. 14 STAINED Glass Workshops in the tranquil setting of Henley-on-Klip on September 14. Workshops last three to four hours and you will complete a sun catcher which is yours to keep.
