Disney’s The Magic Box recently extended its run in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The Cape Town performances have been met with rave reviews from critics, while audiences have given standing ovations after every show.
Featuring an all-South African cast, the Cape Town run closed on November 10. The production will now move to the Teatro at Montecasino in Johannesburg, where it will open on Friday, November 22, and run through the holidays, closing on January 5, 2025.

The Magic Box celebrates Disney’s legacy, inviting fans to relive classic stories, songs, and characters. With an original score, dazzling choreography, and a talented 26-member South African cast, it’s an unforgettable theatrical journey for all ages.
