Alex coach back in court on March 28

One of Alexandra’s most brilliant soccer development coaches who stands accused of sexually molesting his prodigies has had his case postponed to March 28 in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.

The coach, who cannot be named because of the nature of the crimes and to protect the identity of the victims, is currently on bail and was remanded to allow the police to complete their investigations on the case so that it can proceed to trial.

The coach is believed to have been picked up by the Bramley police in late November last year and in his latest appearance on March 1, the state requested a further remand of the accused to March 28 which was granted by the presiding magistrate of court 23.
It was confirmed in court that the accused has not yet been asked to plead to the accusations.
