‘Purpose has perfect timing,’ says Tsholo Peeters as she reflects on journey to her crowning

The crown, the cause and the countdown to Mrs Grand International, model and Fitprenuer, Tsholo Peeters reflects on it all.

There’s a moment every queen remembers — the second the crown touches her head and the world suddenly feels both bigger and more intimate. While for some that moment might be about the glitz and glamour, for Tsholofelo Peeters, the newly crowned Mrs Grand South Africa 2026, it was the fulfilment of a dream and proof that purpose has perfect timing.

She didn’t just win a pageant; she stepped into a purpose that had been preparing her all along. “Professionally, it has expanded my platform beyond corporate leadership, allowing me to use my voice to advocate for mental wellness, healthy living, and community impact,” she shared.

But like many dreams worth pursuing, the journey to her crowning tested every part of her. “The hardest part was facing rejection. This was probably the loneliest journey I’ve ever walked,” she recalled. Many doors closed, but giving up was never on the table. Fuelled by faith and a deep sense of purpose, she kept moving forward. “I chose to believe that every ‘no’ simply meant not now.”

She said holding the title hasn’t changed who she is at her core; it has simply amplified her responsibility. “Every opportunity is now a chance to inspire, serve, and create meaningful impact.” This is exactly what Peeters ‘The Fitpreneur’ has been doing in Alexandra, inspiring young models and impacting lives through her wellness and lifestyle brand Activ8SA.

She said that behind the title lies the real work, the responsibility, discipline, community engagement, and the daily commitment to carry South Africa’s name with integrity.

Just two weeks into her reign, the title is already doing what she hoped it would. It has already given Activ8SA greater visibility and has opened doors for her to spread the message that movement is medicine for the mind.

Now as she prepares for Mrs Grand International in August, she is focused on building global bridges for Activ8SA and showing the world what’s possible when movement meets mental wellness.

As the countdown to August continues, Peeters is preparing with intention. “I am training consistently, prioritising mental well-being through prayer and reflection, and staying focused on representing South Africa with excellence.”

For her, success at the international stage means creating partnerships, opening doors for Activ8SA, and inspiring others through her journey.
