Two men were arrested for possession of explosives in Yeoville.
The incident occurred at the corner of Francis and Raymond Streets on October 25.
“The officers received information and on arrival found one of the men at the property,” said Constable Thabo Malatji of the Yeoville SAPS.
The officers inspected the premises and after a long search, they discovered explosives hidden in a vehicle.
“The man then lead officers to one of his friends who was also arrested,” said Const Malatji.
Members of the explosives unit assisted in the identification of the explosives.
“We are anticipating more arrests,” said Const Malatji.
