Diverse talents displayed for Holy Rosary’s class of 2013

The class of 2013 became immersed in the various activities the school had on offer, whether it was helping save a life through being blood donors and first aid givers, giving up their Saturdays to help with the school’s outreach teaching programme, or helping to pour tea at functions.

Holy Rosary School for Girls in Edenvale aims to nurture the girls’ talents in the realm of academics, religion, service, sports and culture.

Every girl is acknowledged as unique and special, and is encouraged to find her gifts and potential. While at school, the girls learnt the values of honesty, loyalty, determination and service above self.

The 2013 matriculants also excelled on the sports field.

Among the group’s achievements were; winning the Inter-schools Catholic Athletics event in 2012 for the 11th consecutive year and winning the Inter-Catholic Swimming Gala for the 10th time.

Some matric pupils were afforded the opportunity to expand their religious, historical and art knowledge on their Euro tour, embracing different cultures and visiting the Vatican Museum, the Jesuit Church and the Dumo Cathedral.

The Class of 2013, like many before, was a diversely talented one for Holy Rosary School, producing ballerinas, hockey and netball players, gymnasts, athletes, swimmers, academics, pianists, actors and service givers.
