The arrests took place at the corner of South and Joe Slovo roads on Monday, June 9. “The police received information about two men who had stolen a compressor. Upon arrival, officers caught two men in the act while pushing the compressor inside a yard,” said Constable Thabo Malatji of the Yeoville SAPS. According to Const Malatji, the two men could not provide proof of ownership of the machine and were arrested. “After enquiries it was established that the compressor belonged to Johannesburg Water (JW).
