Woman hijacked outside Cyrildene property

A woman was hijacked outside her property in Cyrildene.

The hijacking took place on Elsa Street on Thursday, August 7.

According to Constable Mpho Mashakane, communications officer for Cleveland SAPS, the complainant alleges that she stopped the vehicle outside her gate and exited the vehicle to open the gate.

Suddenly, she saw a silver vehicle stop behind her car and two suspects climbed out of the vehicle, armed with a firearm. Const Mashakane said, the suspects pointed a firearm at the complainant and demanded her car keys. She said they took the car and fled with items valued at R90 000. According to Const Mashakane, the suspects are still at large. @JoziReporter
