The victim alleged that on December 9, 2014, he left his house in New Goch, Benrose. When the victim left, everything was in order at the house.
According to Warrant Officer Richard Munyayi, from the Jeppe SAPS, the victim returned to his house on January 8 and discovered the front door standing wide open.
The victim inspected his house and found several items had been stolen.
He went to the police station to open a case and following investigations, the suspect was arrested.
