#EastgateBombScare: K9 Unit gives the ‘all clear’

Members of the K9 Unit have left Eastgate Shopping Centre.

“Nothing was found during the search by members of the K9 Unit and the Bomb Squad,” reports Bedfordview journalist, Duenna Mambana.

“Centre management can confirm a call about a bomb was received today. As a precaution, the centre was evacuated,” said Mr Tshepo Monnamoroe from Eastgate Shopping Centre earlier this evening.

“The centre will open for trade once the SAPS and EMS confirmed it is safe,” said Tshepo Mr Monnamoroe earlier.
