A man was shot and killed while another was robbed in his driveway in separate incidents in Malvern on Saturday evening.

Cleveland SAPS communications officer, Constable Mpho Mashakane said at the corner of 25th and Toronga Street a 30 year old man was shot in the head while sitting in his Toyota Conquest.

“The man was shot in the head. Paramedics certified him dead on the scene,” Const Mashakane said.

She added that on Fransquin Street after after 10pm a man was cornered by a white car on his driveway.

“Two armed men climbed out of the white car and pointed firearms at their victim. They ordered him out of his car. Two other men joined them. The men forced their victims into his house. They took three cellular phones, cash and their victim’s BMW before they fled the scene,” Const Mashakane said.
