Man shot dead in Yeoville, investigation continues

One man was fatally shot around midnight on 6 July near the intersection of Webb Street and Kenmere Road in Yeoville Johannesburg.

Netcare 911’s Media Liaison’s officer, Nick Dollman, explained that Netcare 911, the fire department and the police attended the incident. The details surrounding the incident are unclear and will form part of a police investigation.

Police confirmed that the victim was identified and his family has been notified.

Netcare 911 assessed the male victim who was found on the pavement and had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically he had sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
