Celebrating Youth Day with colour

“Community members thoroughly enjoyed themselves this year.”

This year the Edenvale community in partnership with My Community Colour Run celebrated Youth Day with bright colours and a 5km run.

The colour run which started at the Edenvale Sports Ground snaked through the town and made its way along Van Riebeeck Avenue.

Sthembiso Kubheka, an organiser of the event, said roughly 200 people participated in the event.

He said this year’s event was the first of its kind in Edenvale.

“These events are always held in the North, we wanted to determine if the Edenvale community would be interested in it,” said Kubheka.
