Three Edenvale High School girls competed at the SANESA schools riding competition, where they represented the district of Ekurhuleni.
The learners, Renita Adendorff, Kelly Griggs and Tanna Griggs, all placed in the competition’s first round held at Kyalami Equestrian Park.
Results are as follows:
• Renita Adendorff placed 10th in the 70cm competition on her horse Hercules.
• Kelly Griggs placed third in the 80cm 2-Phase competition on her horse Fadidah.
• Tanna Griggs placed eighth in the 80cm 2-Phase competition on her horse June Rush.
The three learners went on to compete in the next round over the weekend of May 4 and 5 in Kyalami at Eaton Farm.
