Eight arrested in Bedfordview robbery, including two SAPS officers
Eight suspects, including two South African Police Service members stationed in Florida, were arrested in Bedfordview following a business robbery, with police condemning the alleged involvement of officers in criminal activity.
The Gauteng Tactical Response Team (TRT), in collaboration with Gauteng Traffic Police, arrested eight suspects following a business robbery in Bedfordview on Sunday, April 26.
According to a police statement, two of those arrested are serving police officers stationed at Florida Police Station.

Police management in Gauteng has strongly condemned their alleged involvement, stating that such conduct undermines the integrity of the organisation.
All eight suspects are expected to face charges of business robbery and possession of stolen property. They are expected to appear in court soon.
Investigations are ongoing.
SAPS has reiterated its commitment to rooting out criminal activity within its ranks and ensuring accountability among all members.
